Highshield

Rendiran, a young priest to a Dragon Goddess, must take responsibility for a child who is resurrected. He returns to life with a message; that he is to become a great Paladin and serve the faith as it undergoes an age of change and growing power. He discovers that trustworthy people are difficult to find as he is sent on a journey with the boy across the countryside amidst political and religious upheaval. If matters weren't complicated enough, he has to face the undead and zealots from enemy religions. Highshield takes place in the same world as the award winning novel, Brightwill, and examines a different side of the universe introduced there.
