Adventure exists with the specter of death looming over it. The Drek: Brit has resurfaced with an even larger horde of the foulest demons from the abyss. The first battle was a test. This time, Brit will see the fall of his most powerful enemy and, finally, the destruction of the Tower of Balance. The Children of the Gene: Sensing that the final conflict has arrived, and with the growing demon incursion to the earth plane, the Children of the Gene must once again race to the Tower of Balance where they will do battle against the forces of hell. Wielding the power of the Daunyans and with the help of the elves, the fierce amahle, and allies yet to be discovered, seven warriors will bring the wrath of heaven down upon their enemies in a war that will see the light of the Gods shine upon the world, or cast it into darkness forevermore. I loved the story. I loved seeing the relationships build more between the characters we've already gotten to know.
