Her Housekeeper

I told her I was the housekeeper, and who was she to question? What I lack in experience, I make up for in hard work. I do my best to keep this enormous house neat and stay on top of laundry. She's a devoted mother and a doting wife, and I'd do anything to please her. I fuss over her darling children, offering to take them off her hands when she's looking frazzled. And when she returns home to find my bags in the hallway, she gives me a room when I tell her I have nowhere else to go. She's so trusting, she always has been.
