Henrietta Trout has a big secret! Her family have extraordinary powers. Highly trained, they can change their shapes and infiltrate any objects - even computers and satellites! Known as shifters, they work for the elite Ministry of Inscrutable Shape Shifters, protecting the world from Gribblers - shifters working for criminals. Henrietta's nearly ten when she'll also be a shifter, but she's secretly been practising already. She can even help put things right when shape-shifting goes a bit wrong - Uncle Alfred has been a table lamp for ages, and Mrs Trout daren't say she feels like a cup of tea! When the evil Gribblers' bizarre plot to use ice-cream vans to destroy the world threatens all the Trouts, Henrietta gets caught up in the most dangerous and mind-blowing adventures...
