Harry's Archangel

In this story of supernatural mystery, an accident outside a hospital draws an Asian-American private eye into cases of commercial aircraft falling from the sky without mechanical malfunction, bad weather or pilot error to account for the crashes. The insurers call on Harry Lee, a private investigator and part-time philosophy instructor in Seatte. With the strange deaths of a Malaysian prince and an airline executive, Harry finds evidence of the involvement of an elusive Malaysian warlock, known to deal in the deadly Siamese Charm. In addition, Harry is haunted by the memory of a lost love, taken from him by a conjuror's spell. That's stiff competition for his current girlfriend. By the way, there is a kind of sequel to Harry's Archangel. War in Heaven follows up on a warlock in the Seattle area and features Harry's private eye colleague.
