Hand of God

The world has changed a lot in the last two hundred years. There are only eight countries left and yet international tension has never been higher. The concentration of power has done nothing to stop humanity's thirst for power and control, and sinister forces are working to keep it that way. In half the world people regularly modify their DNA and replace normal body parts with enhanced bionic devices. The other half vilifies them for their arrogance. Soon terrorism and warfare break out on a planetary level. Josh Carpenter is about to gain notoriety for being unenhanced in an Enlightened City. But Josh is not quite normal. As his special abilities begin to bloom, he finds himself at the center of the ultimate struggle for power. The world will face utter annihilation as good and evil fight for control. It will be up to Josh to stop the madness and save us all. Without him, all is lost.
