Half Moon Bay

Piper, a young girl, sits on her mother's grave with a red rose to her lips. The only memory Piper has of her past is this little saying, "Hourglass that lights my path from dawn till night-guide my steps through the sands of time-for-each step I take, leave footprints for all to see now that the sands have collected my life's memories."

Now, alone without a home or family, she finds herself standing before a judge. The judge sends her to Half Moon Bay, CA. There she will stay at a girl's home called Half Moon House. Before Piper leaves the courthouse she enters a restroom where she runs into a young girl her age. At that moment she sees what looks like a tattoo that resembles an Hourglass. Piper watches as the Hourglass glows and spins. Startled by what she sees, she moves away, and the hourglass vanishes when they are no longer in physical contact.

Piper meets Marla at Half Moon House. Good friend or evil? At the local high school, she meets Parrish, Gage, and Tara. What secret do they share? Do they live in the past, present, and future?
