Six months after  becoming the owner of Reaper Inc Avery begins having visions of his dimise. As a formidable villian rises Avery tries his best to ignore the visions thinking they are nothing more than a pawn his other half is using to gain control. As time passes Avery soon learns that he can't ignore the visions forever and they may just be warning signs. Fearing that he can't stop what's coming Avery looks to the heavens for an answer. After an angel visits him with a prophecy Avery realizes that he may have to mount his pale horse sooner than expected and begin the Apocalypse
