Gordian Knots

King Gordius tied a knot so intricate that only a man capable of ruling the world could untie it, but Alexander the Great pulled his sword and cut the knot asunder. Death should serve as Alexander’s sword for us all, but Uta Schatzmann, notorious author of tales of horror, refuses to let go when she dies while cross-country skiing and lies under the ice of a frozen pond for months. Her voice calls out from her icy grave to those who shared her life, commanding them to come find her. When John Marshall follows the voice that only he hears to the pond and finds her body, her malevolent spirit is set free to take revenge on those whom she believes harmed or spurned her during her life.
