Gold or Soup

Maxcine and Isabel set out to discover if there is a connection between a thwarted convenience store robbery, chicken soup assumed to be gold, a prowler and metal barrels of toxic waste. They were definitely seeing more than it was wise to observe. However, curiosity had a firm grip on them. Eventually so do the thugs. Kidnapped, taken to a remote location, they persist in assembling clues. Getting in their way is more misunderstanding than would fill those metal barrels that had been falling off a flatbed truck. Aiding their investigation is the spirit of their deceased mother, who often appears as their spunky mother-in-law.
