Goddess Ascending

Izlana, goddess of creation, is on her first journey to the world, when she's betrayed by a fellow god and captured by humans. Her powers are neutralized by a magical collar, which leaves her vulnerable and weak.While on the world, she meets Marric, a servant she develops feelings for. Only a goddess cannot love a human. With her feelings as trapped as she is, she'll have to find a way to regain her powers and return home. Except her bond with Marric isn't the only obstacle in her way. Izlana will have to fight through the war brought by humans and gods. If she fails, all creation is doomed.
