Girl with Cap [2007]A short storybygreg hoeyPublished through SmashwordsThis morning at the department of social security my eyes set upon the type of girl that makes your jaw hit the floor and then proceeds to make your tongue slowly tumble out of your mouth like red carpet being rolled out at some glamorous Hollywood celebrity do. She was with a rather average ‘aussie' guy and although Caucasian in appearance the look of his skin tones suggested he may have been of mixed heritage one possibly owing some distant connection to either a Mediterranean or even North African ancestry. Dressed in black t-shirt, daggy jeans & thongs and who would have been round his early to mid-twenties having the kind of hang-dog expression about his face that said 'entirely grateful but also a little overwhelmed please somebody help me out here'...
