Girl of Clay

Beyond the boundaries of time and death, there exists a realm where the souls of those who have died tragically are plucked away. Placed in new bodies of glazed clay, each soul in turn is given a second life- so those who have been cheated by fate can find purpose and peace. Into this, a young woman named Theresa awakens. Taken from her life by a horrific accident, she awakens in a small, sleepy village amidst a sea of sand. As the days pass, she grows restless at the calm, placid nature of her new surroundings. Something is different about this girl- something that, according to one mysterious town resident, could lead to the destruction of the entire realm.
