Ghosts and Shadows

Louisiana State Police Detective "Cadillac" Holland is asked to help investigate a series of arson fires, but what he uncovers is a dark conspiracy meant to provoke a gang war as New Orleans enters a crucial local election, Mardi Gras, and the city's football team's first trip to the Super Bowl. The menace this poses is compounded by the discovery that it is being orchestrated by a corrupt government contractor on behalf of a Homeland Security official sworn to protect the nation from just this sort of thing. Worse yet, the man running the contractor's operation nearly got Detective Holland killed while working for the same company on a classified operation in Iraq; a mission he has gone to great lengths to keep his friends and family from knowing the details about. The detective must put his life at risk to derail the phony gang war and protect his city, his family, and his secrets.
