Cocktail waitress Violetta Graves is haunted ... by the annoying spirits of dead people. And in Las Vegas, there are a lot of dead people. When she's not ignoring ridiculous afterlife requests, Vie performs official hand-holder duties for her dealing-with-a-vile-divorce sister—who has an disturbing obsession with the Investigation Discovery Channel.

And then there's grumpy old Mr. Withers, Vie's new ghost guru. Oh, yeah. He's a real peach.

Then her boyfriend, Homicide Detective Matt Stone, asks for her Otherworldly help to solve the strange death of a semi-famous magician. But in the flimflam world of Las Vegas entertainment, nothing is as it seems—and if they don't solve the murders, the killer may well disappear.
