The truth is not always what you think it is. English major Anna Merritt is studying abroad at Oxford, hoping to discover her life's purpose, when she befriends two freshers: Nicholas Diggs, whose businessman father has indoctrinated him that function equals value, and gregarious Edmund Mitchell.
