Forever

Have you ever wished for something amazing? The World of Hek will take you on an fantastic journey through the life and loves of one man, forever cursed with immortality. Joshua Gibbon, a young married man, embarked on a trading mission in 1789 but was robbed, shot, and left for dead. Joshua wished to live so that he could return to his wife. His wish was granted by a demon named Hek who cursed him with immortality. The World of Hek: Forever follows Joshua's travels as a troubled alcoholic, searching for his place in the world, and Hek's determination for Joshua to accept his immortality and live like a king. Hek constantly harasses Joshua throughout his long life, involving himself in many of Joshua's affairs and romances while trying to understand Joshua's refusal to accept his gift. A love/hate bond is formed between the immortal and the demon as their lives and egos collide often until the final climactic ending that is sure to surprise many. The story visits such times and locales as New Orleans during the Civil War, 1920's Chicago, and modern day Las Vegas.
