Everything Liora thought couldn't be possible has now become a reality. The barrier has fallen exposing the last of the human race to the soulless demons that seek to devour what hope is left in the human's minds. With limited people left to protect the city and no wall to keep the beasts at bay Liora is forced to make a decision. To flee or to stay and find a way to protect everyone. That's when Liora finds what In Nocte has been in desperate need of. Malina is an eight year old little girl who has unfortunately been chosen to be a light bearer. With her divine abilities she could thwart the darkness and save the human race but how can a child possibly face their imminent destiny when they aren't even fully grown? When Liora stumbles upon Malina she knows that this child must be protected and the only place left in the world to keep her safe is the palace. With this long and treacherous road ahead of them comes uncertainty and danger. They have been marked by the darkness and it appears that fate has turned their back on them. There is a slim chance that they will make it to the palace alive but it is their only hope in bringing peace to their fallen world. Will Liora be strong enough to save this child and save her world?
