First Comes Love, Then Comes Murder

An amateur sleuth and her cop husband head to a Mexican resort to stop a wedding and find themselves on the trail of a murderer in this cozy mystery.   Having finally tied the knot with her best friend and partner in crime, Sheriff Rick Sutton, Corrie Sutton is ready to settle into married life and running the Black Horse Inn. But Corrie's plans for domestic bliss are put on hold when her new mother-in-law asks the newlyweds to follow her best friend, a billionaire widow, to Cancun to make sure she isn't rushing into marriage with a fortune hunter. With police chief J. D. Wilder and RaeLynn Shaffer along for the trip, Corrie and Rick are hoping this will turn out to be a dream vacation with friends. But not long after donning their beach attire, the crew is suddenly up to their necks in dead bodies. First, a resort worker is stabbed, then the groom is shot to death on the eve of the wedding, the concierge commits suicide, and a young housekeeper is assaulted. Corrie and Rick suspect these deaths are related, and once they dig into the history of the coastal resort, they discover there is indeed trouble in paradise. But can they put an end to the killing before the killer puts an end to them?
