Elemental forces are all around us. Fire, water, earth, and wind. Are there people who live secret lives, using these forces? Such a question popped into Walter's mind when he and his sister, Florrie, found themselves in the midst of a raging storm. What strange and unbelievable powers do they wield? There is an ancient prophecy...a prophecy awakened with their arrival. The siblings are welcomed by the Knowers, people who can control the elements. They hear of fantastical places: Fire Island, the Wind Valleys, Earth Camp, and Seastead. Can Walter and Florrie help the Community of Four as their lives become increasingly endangered?
