Fausterella and other stories

Creepy, comic and unsettling, this collection features new, retold and mashed up fairy tales as well as stories of ghosts, puppets, various ancient evils and a pet zombie.

There are nine stories in this collection, some of which have been previously published elsewhere. Kate Harrad is a London-based writer whose first novel, All Lies and Jest, is due to be published by Ghostwoods Books later in 2011. She likes kittens and rainbows, but for some reason prefers to write about misguided ritual sacrifices and mutated roadkill.
