Faerie King

Degolia the fay witch covets the throne of Oberon, soon to be vacated by King Huon and Queen Mellefleur. To reign she will need a husband to be her consort and king--though she will hold the power. As mortals like Thomas the Rhymer and Huon of the Horn (one of King charlegmange's paladins) have made excellent rulers in the past, she searches the mortal world for a candidate. Her unlikely choice is teen Martin Macadam, whose only qualification is having read Spenser's Faerie Queen, among other fantasies.
