Rosenkranz is dead, along with her host Paisey. Morales is convinced that the killer is a vampire hunter, and Paisey was merely collateral damage. Why else would Rosenkranz have been completely decapitated?But as Kit investigates Rosenkranz's host, she discovers that Paisey wasn't a human at all, but an immigrant from the Realm of the Faerie.
