Evolution: Michael Connolly

This is the second installment of The Visionary series and Taodore Bentley's emotions have increased his abilities to a new level. Begging his best friend, Michael, to give him the trust to deal with what was wrong, Taodore makes a promise to keep Michael safe, no matter what. But as Michael turns to face him, he is given more of a secret than he had bargained for. As the secret brings them closer, Taodore realizes that everything he needed, all his courage to become normal, lies within Michael's ability to hear him and calm the beast. As they learn more about each other, the two become more connected through the beast and Taodore becomes more aware of everything around them. With this new ability, Taodore has become less obliging and more belligerent towards Markum and begins to think up a plan for he and Michael to leave together - that is until Markum learns Michael's secret. As they question Taodore, the beast reveals Markum's plan for them both causing his love for Michael to make his promise more important than anything else, even if that means sacrificing himself.
