Evolution Awakening

Max, a young teen on the verge of adulthood and a mental breakdown, finds himself at a crossroads when his past catches up with him and his future promises more hardship and distress. This collision forces him to his breaking point. In his lowest moment, a light within him is activated, triggered by the energy of the equinox as it reaches its peak and the veil thins, awakening dormant powers within Max. He opens himself to the wonder and potential beyond the physical plane, moving beyond his mundane struggles to fit in and feel normal. Max's newfound power to travel inadvertently opens a portal to a dark dimension, inviting Darklings to Earth, who seek Max's power to free their master, Umbra.
