Continued degradation of the ozone layer prompted scientists worldwide to come together in an attempt to halt the devastation. The solution arrived at was a synthetic compound designed for disbursement within the layers of the ozone. Little regarding the planned solution to the problem was public knowledge. Once the development phase of the chemicals was successful, the construction began on the rockets that were to deliver them to their final destination. The project quickly became public knowledge at that point. Many individuals didn't believe the idea would work and feared the outcome would be disastrous. One group of protestors decided to put a halt to The Project by sabotaging the launch. The ensuing debacle that occurred vaulted our world into chaos and placed not only Earth but our entire universe, into a state of detrimental change.
