This happenstance between Ernie and Lilith soon brings about trouble but the dwarf is determined to see her safely home, even at the expense of his life. And before long, both of them discover a love that they didn't expect and no matter how Ernie feels, he cannot escape the fate of it, and he realizes that neither of them want to.
