When Annaliese Jaeger's village is overrun and destroyed, she and an injured elf captive escape the slaughter. As they struggle to survive, they find themselves thrown into the middle of a violent conflict. Fighting their Way to Black Fire Pass, they battle alongside the armies of The Empire, against the dreaded Chaos Raven Host. Now they must fight like never before to hold the pass, or the future of the Empire is doomed.
