Annista Glacialis has lived with her aunt and uncle for as long as she can remember. For her whole life, she was told that she wasn't wanted by her parents. But one evening, after countless nights of "odd" dreams, Annista is visited by a man who claims to be her father's advisor. She is told that her father lives in a world of magic and that she is to become queen. Wanting to see her father, Annista travels to the land of Eloquentia with her two best friends, Demitrius and Ian. There she learns the truth of her mother and what her best friend has been hiding from her his whole life. Trapped in a world of magic, deceit, royalty, and love, Annista must learn to use her magic and to survive.
