Echoes of the Past

Some say that legends are born. Others say they are made. What if they are both right? Some of Charlie's relatives come to her realm to train, but Angil has his hands full when four of the young men show up as Deserters of God, leaders of an out of control gang that is in need of a wake-up call by Angil and his knights. Charlie has her own hands full when Clodia's son turns thirteen and starts to show signs of being witchkind, focusing his anger on Charlie. Angil and Ron promise to take their wives back in time for an overdue honeymoon, but only if things can get under control at home first. An unexpected murder of a family member proves to be one of the many roadblocks standing in their way. When things couldn't get worse, rumblings in heaven are brought to earth when angels arrive, looking for the chosen child. Once Angil gets wind of this, he desperately tries to figure out which child they want, and why.
