Echoes After Midnight

Isabelle was a private woman, so private that she has never really seen anything past their house. Her father never really cared about her after her mother died of giving birth to her, but she loved him just the same and would do anything for him. She suddenly found out that her father had agreed to marry her off to the Earl of Devonshire, the man whom everyone hated. He pushed his own wife into depression, causing her to jump off to her death. She didn't want to be married to him or to anyone but she didn't have any choice.
