Defense ForeignIntelligence Agency is finally disassembled and agents scattered,Alexander J. Burns waits for the inevitable battle that will be wagedby his former boss now nemesis, Eric I. Daniels. With former agents from his belovedintelligence agency in place and connections with organized crime nowengaged, Daniels launches a vicious attack on Burns' weakest link,his family. In Spain, while returning home from teaching, DavidCaulfield and Emma are caught in an ambush, surrounded by hired handsfrom a local crime cartel led by former FIA Agent Jeff Glenn. Whileleaving the FBI parking lot, Emma's half-sister in brazenly abductedby a rival syndicate family intent on controlling all of Boston'sorganized crime. In New Hampshire, former FIA Agent Alica Wise,"Intimate Cover Specialist", is tracking Burns with her ownplans, terminate him. This is the first part of a two part story tobe concluded in the fourth installment Falcon, in the Birds of Flightseries.
