Braenyn and Tarrow head to the city of Green Spires to sell the Gem of Iplorius to the King. While there the King makes another offer to the elf thief that he simply cannot resist.

Against the warnings of his lover, Tarrow, Braenyn sets out on a new journey that will take him into the Whitewood Mountains and up the treacherous slopes of Mount Vapor. He will get one step closer to the secrets of his lineage and discover a greater challenge than he bargained for.
