Four female graduate students in psychology go on an impromptu road trip in a borrowed RV. While driving through the Southwest, they're go off the beaten path and are forced to camp overnight, in a remote location. They wake to discover their vehicle is broken down and they are unable to leave. The heroine tries to persuade her friends of the danger, and attempts to convince them to hike out with her, but they ridicule her "paranoia" and refuse. The girls are trapped, with no way out, and things go from bad to worse as they are hunted down and killed, one-by-one, by the creepy proprietor of the isolated backwoods campground and his two feral brothers.
