Toan, ethereal being known as The Dragon, possesses A'ven, ruler of Zhandari. He has waited twenty years for a host to replace the reigning emperor whose body he possesses, since the day his intended, the emperor's daughter, ran away with a telepathic shape-shifter and denounced her heritage; but now his arch nemesis, Josef of Amorascar, has befriended a foreigner, an outcast, called Kamna who bears a remarkable resemblance to A'ven's daughter. Toan is hungry. For flesh. For power. For eternal existence and he will offer anything, do anything, to satisfy his hunger. Toan is certain Kamna will claim his birthright.
