Dr. Nestor's Curse

The American Civil War ended when the generals on both sides used Dr. Nestor's Continuous Genetic machine to create soldiers. Either ConGen or mutants. It didn't matter to the generals. Both Lincoln and Davis were assassinated. General McClellan held the power. Then things went wrong when Lee's final orders were lost,signaling vengeance. Soon, the east coast of America was destroyed. Only a few remaining cities were spared or were being rebuilt by the survivors. Twenty years later, Whisper Corbeau will be dragged down by those lost orders, an enterprising Justice, airships, and a steampunk romance.
