About This Book

On July 2O, 2011, the Randall Massacre shook the small town of Munson to it's bones, and Daytona Edgewater turned 18.
Daytona's ancient trailer lay hidden from view by trees, bushes, and a colossal culture gap. Home with her mother Kim is like another planet, especially once Kim moves in Mike Skinner, her criminally minded boyfriend of the week. Now Daytona's efforts are divided between making decent grades in summer school, working her job, dodging Mike, and chasing after Avery Burrows. Avery, the 6 foot 6 inch, 30 something man who has caught Daytona's eye, just happens to be Munson's town lunatic, and consequently their chief suspect in the Randall Massacre. None of that matters to little Daytona, whose pathological desire for Avery borders on predatory. Still, when the nastiest tragedy to ever rip through Munson begins to rain its gruesome clues all over Daytona's hard knock life, even the tiniest Edgewater won't be slipping under the radar.
