Savannah Martin's frugality blows up in her face when she rents out her apartment for the weekend to a woman ostensibly in town for a job interview. When the stranger turns up strangled, and turns out to have been entertaining clients in Savannah's bed, MNPD Detective Tamara Grimaldi swoops in to investigate both the murder and the prostitution angle... and it isn't long before she makes a connection to someone in Savannah's past. But with both Detective Grimaldi and Savannah's boyfriend, TBI agent Rafe Collier, certain they know what happened, it's up to Savannah to prove that the person they think is guilty of murder, isn't.
