Did You Lose Your Elephant?

Two distant relatives unwittingly cross paths and violence results. In Asia Japanese terrorists assassinate three senior American intelligence officers. Rollo Satterfield, an inexperienced trainee, discovers a link and is dispatched to Singapore where he identifies the assassin. He reports his finding and is ordered home. Unbeknownst to Rollo, the Director dispatches ex Green Beret Jocko Satterfield on a mission of revenge. A disappointed Rollo embarks on his career which takes him to Teheran where he recruits an agent who uncovers a plot to kidnap the American Ambassador. Rollo's success leads to a personna non grata departure and eventually to Lisbon where Rollo immediately finds himself embroiled in Portugal's political anarchy as the country struggles to escape its past. Jocko, now his Agency's secret assassin, undertakes dangerous missions to Africa and finally to Lisbon where his target is the notorious O Gordo, the Beast of Luanda. In Portugal Jocko and Rollo again cross destinies with surprising results.
