Despair

Zan decides to leave Ayumi and the Kirisawas in order to protect her from himself. Unfortunately, his plans do not suit the will of a strange boy who appears to calm his fears. Ayumi finally discovers Zan's true identity and is filled with guilt. Later on, Ayumi decides to make Zan happy by bringing him a birthday gift. Unfortunately, she will have to cross the Borders Of Hopelessness ruled by none other than the evil soul of earth, Despair. Caught in a desperate battle, Ayumi, Face and Victoria will have to rely on their true emotions to defeat Despair. A bit about Zan's past is revealed in the final chapter of this book.
