Demon Shock

Ava thought she was just cashing in on a bonus by isolating herself in a cabin. She wasn't expecting to learn she'd worked right through an apocalypse when she reemerged five months later. However, the sudden arrival of a creature straight out of legend—grey skin, yellow eyes, pointed ears, and abs for days—proves it. 

Gryik is shy and sweet and unlike anyone Ava has ever met before. Unfortunately, he's also the bearer of bad news: most of the human population has been wiped out, and zombies are everywhere.  Given a choice between living alone or accepting his offer to take her to where other human survivors live, she packs up her cats and embarks on a journey of a lifetime with the first fey she's ever met.
