This is the third book in The MacDara Chronicles series (the first two are "Overcomer - The Journey" and "Overcomer - The Battle," respectively). A child of 6th Century Ireland, Cian MacDara has traveled through time to present-day Connecticut in order to fulfill his destiny as the Defender of the Balance of Time. The year of his birth, along with the reason for his journey across the ages, is a secret known only to a few. In this first part of the "Defender" section of the series, more is revealed about the extent of Cian's destiny, while the Darkness steps up its game in an attempt to stop him from succeeding.
