Everyone at the table had a motive to get rid of the host. A Man Of Honor (a novella) In September, 1942, LAPD Officer Agnes Graham is off-duty helping a local P.I. on the notorious gambling ship, the S.S. Rex, anchored three miles off the Santa Monica pier. The P.I. was hired by a Hollywood movie studio to find out who is harassing its famous star. A person is found dead in a bathtubâ€"now their case takes a different turn.
