Death Stone

Greta and Derek fished the ring out of an abandoned well. It was gold with a dark red jewel that seemed to ripple with streaks of fire. Greta loved the ring so much that she traded Derek her pearl-handled knife for it. Never mind that it was too big for her finger, nine-year-old Greta knew how to pad the ring with tape so that it fit just so.

And that was when the strange feeling began to haunt Greta. The terrifying feeling that someone was following her. A shadowy someone who whispered in Greta's ear, urging her to kill. Then the murders began. Just as the unknown someone started to become visible...
