About This Book

Milwaukee police detective Nick McCord is again embroiled in a murder case that leads to other murders. In his investigation he invites Monica Barnhart, a history professor and expert on antique jewelry, to join him in his quest to find the murderer of a young girl. Monica has assisted Nick on another case and has become a special friend. Nick finds he is one step behind the evidence as the killer or killers seem to receive evidence results before him. As the case unfolds, Nick finds himself the number one suspect in the murder of one of the witnesses. As the case seems to turn against him, Nick fears for Monica's safety because people who have knowledge about the case seem to be murdered before they can testify. Monica is the only one Nick can trust, even friends on the police force seem untrustworthy. Death of a Flower is a mystery story and the second in a series of Nick McCord mysteries that are yet to be released.
