When a retired New Orleans surgeon tries to organize the First Annual Aisling Meadow Highland Games in an obscure area of North Georgia, he receives a series of threatening notes in an unfamiliar language. Who should he call on for help but his old colleague Dr. Galimatias-"Dr. Decipher of the Vieux Carré?"
