      Murder at the drive-in? It's the summer 1977 in Santa Raymunda, a sleepy town in Southern California, and teen detectives Addie, Gina, and Rachel spend their nights clocking hours at the drive-in watching Star Wars. During the last showing after midnight, a badly beaten local young man collapses in front of the teen's car, and the police are immediately at the scene.
