Deadly Suspicions

The discovery of a mutilated hand had closed the investigation into the disappearance of 16-year-old Steven Leng. Now, ten years later, the victim's mother, is still determined to find out what really happened to her son and contacts private investigator Alexandra Best. Despite being warned off the case by her friend DCI Nick Frobisher, Alex tracks down Steven's closest friends and discovers more about the incident in the woods that originally sparked off the mystery. Through her discoveries Alex becomes convinced that Steven was murdered and her investigations lead her to the Followers, a religious group that appeared to fascinate Steven. Alex treads a dangerous trail that finally leads to a dramatic denouement.
