Deadly Shadows

The psychic spiritualism craze has stormed New York City, with wealthy and famous people going to séances and mediums to contact loved ones taken in the Great War and Spanish Flu. In Brooklyn 1919, as heavy snow falls outside, a young "medium," Sarah Salem, a former showgirl, predicts a death while in a trance in front of a dozen people. As the guests leave, they find a dead woman on their front steps, murdered. When police jail her mentor for the crime, Sarah gains notoriety as the "ghost girl" and must take to the city in disguise to find the killer. Her search takes her from the mansions of the rich to the basements of Harlem. Sarah risks her reputation and life in her quest to free her mentor. Can her "psychic abilities" help her solve this mystery?
