NURSING A GRUDGE

Kate Kinsella has fallen on hard times when her work, both as a nurse and as a private medical investigator, dries up. Until she gets a break--if one can call it that--with a murder.

Fiend and landlord Hubert Humberstone--also the undertaker and local busybody--practically tosses her into the investigation of Jenny Martin, a nurse whose body is found in the trunk of her burned-out car. She had been beaten to death.
